These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website www.gaudhuni.com (the "Website") and any purchase of products or donations made through it. The Website is operated under the Gaudhuni Group brand, comprising Gaudhuni Industries (sale of cow-based products) and Gaudhuni Foundation (a non-profit organisation dedicated to Gau Seva and cow conservation, which receives donations). By accessing the Website, placing an order, or making a donation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, or accessing the Website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
2. Products, Pricing & Orders
- Products are sold by Gaudhuni Industries. All products are handmade from pure desi cow inputs; minor variations in colour, size, texture and aroma are natural and not defects.
- All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and, where applicable, are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). We reserve the right to revise prices at any time before an order is accepted.
- Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An order is accepted only when we confirm it and/or dispatch the product. We may decline or cancel any order (e.g. stock unavailability, pricing error, or suspected fraud), in which case any amount charged will be refunded.
3. Donations (Gaudhuni Foundation)
- Donations are voluntary contributions to Gaudhuni Foundation for Gau Seva — the rescue, shelter, feeding and medical care of cows. Donations are not a purchase of goods or services.
- A receipt will be issued to the email provided for non-anonymous donations.
4. Recurring / Auto-pay Donations (e-Mandate, UPI Autopay & NACH)
You may choose to set up a recurring (auto-pay) donation on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. By authorising a recurring donation you expressly agree that:
- You are creating a standing instruction ("mandate") through our payment partner Razorpay, using UPI Autopay, card-based e-mandate, or NACH, as permitted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
- The fixed amount and frequency you select will be automatically debited from your chosen payment method each cycle until you cancel or the mandate term ends.
- In line with RBI's e-mandate framework, you will receive a pre-debit notification (at least 24 hours before each charge) from the payment system, and for any single recurring charge above the RBI-prescribed limit (currently ₹15,000) an additional factor of authentication will be required.
- You may cancel the recurring mandate at any time — through the cancellation options in your payment app/bank, or by contacting us at info@gaudhuni.com. Cancellation stops all future debits. Amounts already debited are governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
5. Payments
Online payments are processed by third-party payment gateways (Razorpay and/or CCAvenue), which are PCI-DSS compliant. We do not collect or store your full card number, UPI PIN, CVV, or net-banking credentials. Your use of a payment gateway is also subject to that gateway's own terms and privacy policy.
6. Shipping, Cancellation & Refunds
Delivery of products is governed by our Shipping and Exchange Policy, and cancellations/refunds by our Cancellation and Refund Policy, each of which forms part of these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website — including text, logos, the "Gaudhuni" name and marks, images, graphics and page design — is the property of Gaudhuni Group or its licensors and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. You may not copy, reproduce, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Website for any unlawful purpose, to attempt unauthorised access, to introduce malicious code, to scrape data, or to interfere with its operation or security.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Website and products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gaudhuni Group, Gaudhuni Industries and Gaudhuni Foundation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product shall not exceed the amount you paid for that product.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gaudhuni Group, its trustees, officers, employees and partners from any claim or demand arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the changes.
